  Totally Toes is a beautiful blend of 70% alpaca and 20% merino wool with a little nylon (10%). Alpaca is one of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. It is incredibly warm, light weight and strong. It has hypoallergenic properties, it contains no lanolin, which makes the fiber safe to wear if you have skin allergies. Alpaca is said to be three times warmer than sheep’s wool, the fibers have excellent insulation properties while remaining light and breathable. The merino fiber is extremely fine, it has natural elasticity which helps a merino garment stretch yet return back to its original shape. It also has insulating properties meaning the thinnest of garments create thermal layer of warmth against the cold. Spun in Ohio and hand-dyed in my home, this yarn is a dream to work with and will not disappoint.
